Ben turns 2!

You say it's yer birthday? It was Ben's, and he loved it! At first he was curious about the cake and candles, but once everyone started singing, he loved being the center of attention! And now if you sing "Happy Birthday" to him, when you're finished he'll say "blow out the candles!"

And yet more bubbles...

Okay, so we've established that Ben likes bubbles... So for his birthday, dad bought him a bubble machine! (What a deal: "Bazillions" of bubbles for only 10 bucks, and that's including 6 AA batteries!) Needless to say, it was the hit of the party... And apparently travelling to the next birthday as well.

Oh, and this is what happens these days when you ask Ben to "smile".

Well, we brought out the bouncy chair for a friend's 4 month old... And guess who decided to give it a try? Funny, it doesn't really bounce when your butt is touching the ground.

Bubbles!

More with the bubbles. Isn't it strange that the bubble solution comes out when I bend over..? For some reason, Ben thinks that the solution is tasty... But then, he thinks the dog water is tasty as well.

You send it, he wears it!

Thanks to the kindness of a few grand-aunts and an uncle, Ben has some new looks. And since the Bulls have been on a roll, I figure maybe posting this picture in a SIU t-shirt might bring good luck!
