And on to the candy..!

Ben went up and down the entire block asking for loot. He did a pretty good job with the "Trick or Treat" and saying thank you, but he seemed very surprised that we were asking for candy from every single house we went to. He did fall in love with doorbells, however, and he really liked seeing the other kids all dressed up in their costumes. He couldn't wait until they came to his house, and he stayed up well past his bedtime handing out candy and telling everyone "Happy Halloween!"

And Phoebe too!

Okay, so the costume is a hand-me-down... But the smiles are all hers! Phoebe liked being a part of Halloween, mostly because that meant she got to hang out with Ben!

Here's our little Monkey in his Halloween costume... As a little monkey! It's true: He DID have a banana in his pocket, and he WAS happy to see you!

She managed to sit up all by herself in her bouncer... And was very proud of herself. She's also in the process of subletting those cheeks out to the squirrels for nut-storage this winter, but that's another story...

Pick a Pumpkin, any Pumpkin...

Ben doesn't quite get the "pick out a pumpkin" idea yet. He mostly went for ones that he could pick up by himself. We'll post his carving results soon.
