Drum Circle, Anyone?

Here's Ben in a drum circle -- 30 kids with drums trying to keep a beat... Or start a headache. Ben actually did a pretty good job of keeping up -- And enjoyed himself in the process. Phoebe tried to keep the beat as well, but it seems she couldn't figure out which end of the drum was up.

Fun at the Skirball

A few pics of Ben and Phoebe at the Noah's Ark exhibit at the Skirball Center. There was a lot of climbing, a lot of playing, and a lot of chasing around by their dad. Needless to say, those little holes weren't made for adults.

State Fair? Yes, please!

So the family went to the San Diego County fair, (after spending a day at the SD Zoo, where Ben got to feed the giraffes!), where they had a bunch of kiddie carnival rides. So Ben had a good time going on twisty-rides, and crazy-cars, and whatnot. He also went down an enormous slide (see photo), and got a wipe-on tattoo. Which he put on his... Well, you saw the picture. He also got to pet a bunch of farm animals, and kept going back to pet the baby chickens. I spent the rest of the day telling everyone I met that my son was really into chicks.

Phoebe Walks!

Yes, it's true! Phoebe walks! She has the occasional stumble, but she pops right back up and keeps going. I guess determination is her middle name... That, and "Sweet Cheeks"!

Ben is a Goof

I think the picture really says it all. Needless to say, taking cute pictures of Ben has gotten more difficult, given the fact that anytime he sees a camera, he makes a silly face. Ah, kids.
